About Us

Our Story

Luzera Studio began with a simple conviction: that the objects you live with every day should be worth living with. Not functional placeholders, but things made or chosen with genuine care — for their material, their history, their presence in a room.

We work across three disciplines that share the same underlying belief.

Handmade lampshades crafted from natural fabrics — linen, cotton, silk — sourced in Europe and made to order in our Marbella studio. Each shade is made by hand, one at a time, from materials selected for how they behave under light as much as how they look on a swatch. Size, shape, fabric, and lining are all customisable; allow 7–14 days for each commission.

Vintage European lamp bases sourced from across the continent — pieces with history, patina, and a quiet authority that mass production cannot manufacture. Each base is chosen for its craftsmanship and character, and can be paired with one of our handmade shades or acquired on its own.

Restored furniture and ceramics brought carefully back to life. We select pieces worth saving and restore them by hand, preserving what made them worth making in the first place while giving them a new chapter.

Running through all of it is a commitment to sustainability that we think of less as a policy and more as a point of view: that well-made things should last, that restoration is preferable to replacement, and that producing in small batches — slowly, carefully — is the only way to stand behind what we make.

We are based in Marbella, Spain.
